The Adventures of a Travelling Daydreamer

Travelling and exploring is something everyone aspires to do at sometime in their life. Some prefer to venture further afield than others but each endeavour, whether it be a family holiday, a weekend away or even a gap year spent roaming from place to place. I can relate to the student dream of taking a gap year to go travelling, however with my time currently spent studying at university I have had to postpone my plans. This has not deterred me from travelling altogether as I plan weekends away and making an effort to visit areas closer to home.

From these trips I collect photos, postcards and memories that I store away and feel they should have a safe place to be shared. I have tried writing about them on my other blog, though now feels like the right time to devote more time into the posts I produce, and publish them in a space with more creative direction. The idea for this blog actually came from my boyfriend who said I should document my travels on a more travel dedicated blog. An idea that started as a joke grew into a concept that inspired me to take my travelling dreams more seriously.

I hope that you enjoy reading my blog, whether you come across my blog in passing or become a regular reader to my ramblings. I don't have any clear travel plans right now but I'm excited to see what life has in store.
